Chelle's Wedding Speech!
I would like to welcome you
all to this Great Occasion, the Wedding of my daughter Michelle - Chelle to
Rick!!! I would like to introduce myself as Proud Father of the Bride Bob DeSilets.
Chelle as the Daughter is the second of two children that Lyn and I had. I have always been proud of her and what she has been able to do. Since she was working in Phamacuticals and was Crucial to my Recovery and "taking charge of my "needed" care from a 1997 accident I had almost taking my life. Chelle has been the most instrumental in getting my Needed Medications changed to where they are Working and helping me Recover. And, like her Mom and her Grandmother (Lyn's Mother) - she decided to become a Nurse! Villanova set up a Nursing Education Program and she Graduated in fourteen months! I am sure she will be and now IS a Fantastic Nurse. She will touch the lives of many people she cares for.
She met Rick a few years ago and from the beginning it seemed there were special
feelings between them. She took me to a Hockey game he coached in the Northeast
and I got to meet him. I had almost immediate "good" reactions to
him. He seemed to be filled with life and energy.
About year ago near Christmas he came to see me and ask for my "permission"
to marry Chelle. I was very impressed wiith his "old fashioned manners"
in asking me that question and I must say it looked like a GREAT match and Healthy
and "good" times ahead.
He has a Daughter Preslee who is a pretty and seems like a happy nine year old
with an outgoing personality. She seems like a Great Child and helps bring "spunk"
into what seemed already like a great and healthy matchup with Chelle and Rick.
I welcome her as my Grandaughter. I Welcome them all as part of the Family.
And I look forward to many joyful and happy times with them all!!!
