Happy Labor Day!

Saturday September 11, 2004 - Three years since 9/11

This has been a day. Sue was here and generally ok'd my homework - and gave me more. Greta runs to her "lawn" as fast as she (& I) can go in the am. We have had a good day. I unloaded my mail - mostly JUNK. Sue has me warned sufficiently not to enter any scams - SO MUCH JUNK MAIL! You would noy believe postage is up so much.
The Burts have two dogs about twenty or more times bigger than Greta. We are coping OK.
The fish are doing fine not in front of the window. To bad I didn't remember that from Sutton Road!

Congratulations to Emma and Garrett on their engagement!!

11/04/04 George Bush got elected.
The past two months have been encouraging and Greta, Barb, Karen and Sue help!!!

Big news is that Barb is leaving to do full time work at Elwin. She will come back weekends on occasion. Someone different will be here the two days she was. Things change, I will miss her as she really has been great!

I have the new iMac and a wonderful desk to keep it on - Chelle actually put in together - I asked how she knew and was asked "who taught me!!!". I guess I was able to pass on more than I remember. I also have a printer hooked up and a new scanner to copy the articles I find useful (and historic!). Like reopening the world to me!

I saw "Annie Warbucks" the first Walnut Street Theatre Play this season with BJ abd have an an- nouncement of the first Narberth Community Theatre play "Singing in the Rain". A good year in process!!

Greta keeps me happy and occupied and excersing. She is overweight and on a diet - doing fine.
And I am on a no sugar diet as instructed by my Dentist.

Stella, my breakfast
companion in a wheel-chair fell in her room trying to reach something and has been "restricted" to her room, I understand she should be back soon. I miss her and the association with someone here and for breakfast.

BJ is returning with Tasha from caoeing the Grand Canyon shortly. Chelle is now a Registered Nurse and BSN - she passed her licensing exam last week!!! Abd she is working where I was taken after ny accident - Crosier Hospital in Chester. I am proud of them both and look forward to the Holidays upcoming to be able to spend time with them.

The Eagles are off and flying - 6 and 0! Maybe we will have a CHAMPIONSHIP team after all.
All for now.
