2005:

1/21/05
The best of the new year is that Chelle is getting married, Rick proposed to her at Christmas after he asked my permission and showed me the ring! It is beatiful and both of them are thrilled! It seems like a great match. It appears the Wedding will be sometime next year.
I will be an instant Granfather, Rick has a lovely daughter whose name is the same as my "birthmate" - Preslee. (Elvis and I were born by the same doctor in the same hospital.) Preslee is really nice and I look forward to being her Grandfather. Greta is doing well. With the help of a trainer, we have taught her to sit and stay instead of barking.
Hoping the Eagles win their conference final - in the snow that is forecast. Atlanta is not used to be playing in that white stuff. And temperature!
Maybe we will have a Superbowl winner! The first Philadelphia Championship since 1980.

The Eagles got into the Superbowl.......but they LOST..... And the Hockey season is "defunct". Well, there is always next year. The Phillies got a new manager, the Eagles know what they have to improve upon, and maybe the Flyers WILL play next year.
Chelle and Rick are making plans for a wedding early next year in January. I am looking foward to "walking Chelle down the aisle". A Winter WEDDING!!
Bob Jr. is taking me to current Walnut Street Theatre to see "BROADWAY BOUND"! I'm looking forward to the show, and to spending some time with Bob. I would like to go to the narberth Community Theater in March - "A FUNNY THING HAPPENED HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM".
Looks like (by forecast) that we will have more snow, It has been a small supply so far though we have had enough rain.
All for now.

5/3/05

A lot has been happening the last few months,
To begin with, the Phillies Season has begun - but not well. They are in Last Place. BJ has been able to take me to most but Joanne to one. We enjoy the outing and games and time together.
BJ took me to "Rumors" the last Narberth Community Theater Presentation last weekend - it was a Rumor and good scream. Well done. And thanks to Bob for taking me; we had a great time together.
I had my 63rd Birthday April 19th. I am a toddler by Quadrangle Standards! Speaking of the Quadrangle I am to lead a tour of a close former Project of mine, the 1
797 Federal School.
On Wednesday May 18th, a group of Quadrangle residents are going there to "tour" the early schoool. I can review what my responsibilities were to make it accessible to the public . Now both Lower Merion and Haverford School Districts use the School for instruction during the school year. I am very excited to talk about some of my past work.
I have opened my garden here at ELM Building. Chelle was able to order a number of nice plants from her neighbor's kids' school fundraiser. And now I have them all planted. I am looking forward to the results this Summer and being able to bring some flowers back to my room.
Greta is doing well, Everybody seems to like her and she gets much attention. She loves the attention.
I am excited that Chelle is now a Nurse. And that Rick and she are planning a nice wedding in January. Rick actually came and asked me if he could marry Chelle! He had a beautiful ring for her. They seem happy together. Best of all I will be an instant Grand Dad to Preslee, Rick's daughter.
That's all for now. Happy Spring!!
