The Biggest New Item has been the Birth of my new Grandson Jonathan Dutton DeSilets in July!! His 'nickname' is Jack. He is adorable and Bob and Maddie are very proud and Happy!! The Family keeps Growing!!
And Michelle is Expecting again and due in the Spring of 2010. My Grandchild Menagerie is Growing. It is Pleasing. I have lunches weekly with Chelle and RJ and we have fun wathcing him learn and grow.
Earlier this year, Michelle and I Flew to Memphis TN for a "hometown" vacation. We Drove to Tupelo and I saw some familiar Sights of my early childhood; that small Town has Grown sooo Big!! I hardly recognized it.
We also saw Graceland and Traveled on the Natchez Trace for a while - almost lilke being 'back home'!! It was fun to see my ole Roots - Grown!! I also was able to Purchase a Booklet on the NT talking about the History and Roots for the Highway!! I just realzed that the New Natchez Trace Parkway came under President Franklin D. Roosevelt. anyway it was a terrific trip - a stroll down memory lane with my daughter.
The Philadelphia Phillies were in First Place most of the Year and they won the National Division for the 2nd year in a row. I went to many of the games and a few playoff games with my children. They are always fun and exciting. Unfortunately, the Phils lost to the Yankees in the World Series. Just not enough good pitchers.
I had an accident in October and fractured my lower back. I fell getting out of bed. It hurt like the dickens but it is healing and I feel better.
I recently went to baby Jacks Christening and Rj's 3rd birthday party.
I have lots of fun keeping up with the family now that there are so many of us.
Soon it will be Christmas and another New Year -2010. I can't believe how time flies
